MY BACKGROUND
I am a certified Ballroom Dance teacher with more than 25 years of teaching experience. I competed professionally in International Latin and have done pro-am competitions in both International and American styles. I have coached Ballroom teams for Tufts University, UMASS-Boston and MIT and judged numerous amateur competitions sponsored by area universities. I teach all four styles of Ballroom and Latin dancing including Swing and Salsa. I have also helped countless wedding couples prepare for their big day.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons provide one on one instruction and are the fastest and easiest way to learn to dance. Private lessons are customized to your needs, goals, and particular learning style. Whether you're preparing for a wedding or other special occasion or if you simply want to learn to dance, private lessons are the way to go.
GROUP CLASSES
Group classes are organized by type of dance and level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). No partner is necessary as the classes are taught on a rotational basis so everyone will have the opportunity to dance with a partner. The classes run for 4 weeks and each class is 45 minutes. SOCIAL DANCES
Social Dances are a great way to practice what you've been learning. We play a mix of Ballroom and Latin music so you can actually use your dance skills in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. It's also an opportunity to socialize with other dancers. The dances are typically held at the end of the 4-week group classes. Please see the schedule for the social dances under the "More" tab.
